Pika-Seimei Adventures

I will be adding to these soon, but here is the 100th episode of the comic strip I designed for a family friend starring her pets. This colored 100th episode utilized colored pencils and Sharpie pen on regular computer paper.

Early Art Class

These were done during my younger days at art class. I attended a private art class with my sister from 1995-2000. The drawings below were finished in 2000. The flower was made with blended colored pencil and pastel background. The squirrel and opossum were done with Sharpie pens using lines and dots to illustrate shadows.

Drawing Class 2005

Here are some examples from my drawing class 2005. The first two studies were final projects. The fruit basket was done with charcoal and graphite pencils. The tiger was completed with graphite pencils. The barn was made using a flat-sided pencil. The last picture was a combination of graphite and charcoal pencils on Bristol paper.

Sketches

Some random sketches from years past. At the end are life drawing studies from last semester (Fall 2006).

Pet Commissions

I love to draw animals, so I like to take on portraits of friends' pets. These are all done on Strathmore Drawing paper with colored pencil and a pastel background.

Orange County Library Art Contest

Here are the two covers I designed for the Fountain Valley Library Teen Poetry Cover Art Contest. I won second place two consecutive years. (2004 - 2005).
