Here are some preliminary sketches for a character design I did for my cartooning class. We had to design members of an animal family. My character was the mother seagull.
I had some time over the winter break from school to try out my new found inking techniques. My sequential art class helped to get me practicing inking (or at least using my paint markers).
I finally have a few moments to spare. I thought I would share some character designs I'm working on for a special studies class. They are based off "Alice in Wonderland," but with a few little tweaks. These pieces are the sorceress Queen and Alice.
In my sequential art class, we have been working on a Herakles graphic novel. The whole class is contributing a part of the book. I am an inker, so I have had to learn a lot about how to ink (and ink well). Check out the site our professor put up: http://csufsequentialart.blogspot.com/ or click on my link to the left. More art updates once I get more time! :)

I haven't been on here to update in a while. I've been busy this summer with an internship!
Here is a painting I did recently, though. It will be going to my sister's to spruce up her room. It was done with acrylics on a 10x10 canvas.
Here are some pictures from my 3D Computer Modeling and Texuring class. We had to develop a character, a prop, and an environment. The character took most of the semester to model, prepare for textures and finally texture. My character is Reggie, a cartoon-looking squirrel who thinks he's a superhero (hence the red boots). He lives in a tree trunk with a pond nearby where he can use his boat. Everything was made in Maya and most of the textures were designed in Photoshop.
